Vollenhovia emeryi

Vollenhovia emeryi is a small dark colored species that moves slowly and deliberately. The colony in the videos was found nesting in a dead branch on the shaded ground near a river. Notice its somewhat snake-like movement as its body articulates around bends in the nest gallery tunnels.
