Cryptic species are a major challenge for alpha-taxonomy in ants. Numeric morphology-based alpha taxonomy (NUMOBAT) is arguably the'backbone' of a testable intergative taxonomy, the deciding link to Zoological Nomenclature, the only usable method for DNA-degraded specimens & the only method to eaxime vouchers in which no damage is allowed.Anochetus misspelled Anochoetus.
